About Gijos

Building a website for a client focused on fostering a mental health-friendly culture can play a crucial role in breaking down taboos and promoting awareness and acceptance of mental health issues in the workplace. And here and GPYR we wanted to help in foster a culture of acceptance.

Our task for building the website

The main purpose of the new website was to represent the organization and present with their services.  A website had to serve as a  platform for disseminating information and resources related to mental health. By providing easily accessible information about mental health awareness, support services, and strategies for creating a supportive workplace environment, the website ensures that employees and employers have access to valuable resources.

Thinking about UX for Gijos

In the first Q&A session we have talked about main pains related to the topic. And after some brainstorming, we have focused on:

  • Engaging Visual. We have incorporated the main image “faces” to enhance the user experience and convey key messages effectively. We were using visuals that are uplifting and reflective of diversity to create a sense of belonging and connection.
  • Clear Navigation: Implemented intuitive navigation  to help users easily find the information and resources they need.
  • Careful and precise content structuring.  We helped in organization of the content offering training programs, workshops, and seminars to equip managers and employees with the knowledge and skills to promote mental health awareness, support colleagues in distress, and create a supportive work environment.
  • Prominent Call-to-Actions. We have included call-to-action buttons and links to important resources and made it easy for users to take action.

Our team has initially  optimized the website for relevant keywords and phrases related to mental health in the workplace, so it became more accessible to individuals seeking information and resources on these topics.
